Winston-Salem set to show some love to local artisans

October 4, 2017 by

A huge artisan show that features the works from crafters from throughout the area has been planned near Winston-Salem, and all those who like to support their local artistic community, or who just want to do some browsing and buying, will be welcome.

A wide range of artists and crafters will be taking part in Southern Charm on the Farm, which will offer something for just about everyone. There will be items made from repurposed and upcycled articles, as well as candles and soap made from organic ingredients, handmade children’s toys, home decor items, clothing and a wide assortment of creatively designed birdhouses that the organizers say will be as beautiful as they are functional. Jewelry, woodworking, and hand painted furniture will also be included in the sale.

The organizers went on to say that they have planned for the event to serve as showcase for all that local artisans have to offer, and all the participants will be small businesses or artisans. It is expected that at least 225 vendors will be taking part, and there will also be several food tucks set up on site, as well as live entertainment, which will be changing every two hours. Packaging supplies and other customized items for use during a function like this can be sourced from a local print company.

This day, which will show some love to local businesses and craftspeople, has been planned for October 28 in Clemmons’ Tanglewood Park. Anyone who wants to find out more can do so through its Facebook listing.
