Renaissance hotel now open in Westerville

Westerville has welcomed the Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris Hotel (Renaissance Westerville), which opened its doors recently, as did the hotel’s in-house restaurant, the Two-One.

The restaurant takes its name from the 21st Amendment, which repealed the 18th Amendment and its institution of Prohibition nation-wide. The Prohibition movement was once headquartered in Westerville.

The hotel is a new concept for Renaissance, and is based on the idea of a lake house. The hotel offers 222 guestrooms, as well as 15,000 square feet of space that can be used for meetings, banquets, and other occasions. The banquet room has enough seating for 750 people.

The spacious rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows that provide lake views for guests, and finishes inspired by nature. Outdoors, a patio stretches across the rear of the hotel with plenty of comfortable seats for relaxing. There’s also a walking trail, and fire pits where guests can sit and enjoy being outside.

Additional amenities include an indoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a Marriott Rewards R Lounge. The hotel operators are focused on the local community, and feature musicians and artists from the local area.

For its part, the Two-One Restaurant serves a menu of mostly American dishes, offering sandwiches, salads, small plates, cocktails, and entrees such as salmon, or smoked short rib.

Facilities like this can benefit if management works with a brochure printing company to create a booklet illustrating the hotel’s amenities.
