Glasses to be raised to weekend beer festival

March 29, 2013 by

The ‘Washington Cask Beer Festival’ features unique, one-of-a-kind handmade cask-conditioned beers by over 40 individual Washington Brewing Companies. To be served at this event, adults must have photo ID and enjoy sampling great tasting beer.

Poster printing was probably used to tempt people in this area to come out and try some of these great breweries’ products. Washington’s brew industry is alive and well and gaining a stellar reputation. All the beers featured at this festival are true to the spirit of brewing real ales and are created naturally without using artificial carbon dioxide.

The beer samples will use gravity pour or be poured using a beer engine and the admission price includes a tasting glass and up to 25 brewery samples. Individual tickets will be required for each session and the doors will open about 15 minutes prior to each tasting session. Remember, guests must be over 21 to attend this event. A designated driver for a safe ride home costs $5 and can be picked up at door only.

There are two sessions taking place over the course of the day – both taking up a four-hour slot. The cost to attend one session is $40 per person. The Washington Cask Beer Festival will be happening this Saturday, March 30, from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Seattle Center located at 305 Harrison Street in Seattle, Washington, a short drive from Woodinville. To purchase tickets, please visit the Seattle Center’s website or call 206-684-7200.
