Creativity the key this weekend

The Young Creative is a collective of young artisans based in Tacoma that consists mainly of talented students from area public schools. This weekend, it will be holding a reception to showcase the fine works of the students involved in the technical and career educational art programs designed in the school system to develop youth creativity and skills.

This Youth Creative exhibition provides the public with the opportunity to meet young artisans who are emerging and developing skills in the area, while sharing their artwork outside the educational environment. The students’ artwork is being presented in several locations in the community, as well as the local businesses during November.

November is recognized as ‘Art at Work Month’ and the Youth Creative has four individual art receptions planed during the first week of the month which are strategically placed in various neighborhoods. The work being showcased in this exhibit is for sale and the students – many of whom are working towards professional careers as artists – are looking forward to discussing their art with members of the public.

Poster printing, brochure printing, and flyer printing may all have been used to promote this student exhibition to residents in this community and the surrounding communities and, with admission being free, it provides an excellent opportunity to appreciate some local art.

The Youth Creative reception is being held on Saturday, November 3 from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Antique Sandwich Company in Tacoma, Washington. For additional details about this reception, please visit the Youth Creative website or call 253-850-9978 during business hours.
