September 26, 2013 by

This weekend’s Sprinker Car Show will give families the chance to get out and have some fun while viewing the classic cars and trucks from all periods. Poster and postcard printing are likely to have been used to advertise and promote this exciting annual event to the people in this community and the outlying regions.

This one-day event will let people view cars and trucks of all makes, models, and years, while enjoying the lush green grass on which the event is taking place, as well as the vendors, food booths, sponsor booths, and the chance to vote for their favorite vehicle.

Spectator admission to the car show is free and everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy it. It will be taking place on Sunday, September 29, at the Sprinker Recreation Center located at 14824 C Street South in Tacoma, Washington. To learn more about this event, or registering a vehicle, please visit the Pierce County, Washington website, the Sprinker Recreation Center website, or call the offices.

Registration opens for vehicles at 7:00 am. Concessions will be open at 8:00 am and the opening announcements will take place at 9:00 am. Door prizes will be drawn every 15 minutes starting at 9:15 am. There will be a children’s area with playground, skateboard park, and face painting. People’s Choice of vehicle voting concludes at 12:00 pm and the awards ceremony will take place at 2:00 pm. All in all, the event promises plenty of activity for people of all ages.
