Weekend about to get spiced up

The 15th Annual Herb and Food Fair is being presented by Bastyr University and this year’s theme is ‘Everything Old is New Again’.

A family event that has activities for people of all ages, even pets are allowed to take part on the day. Poster printing, flyer printing, and banner printing by local print companies were likely used to advertise this annual event to the people in Seattle and the surrounding regions.

This is a great opportunity for families to come out and soak up some of that great spring sunshine and enjoy all the wonderful and interesting plants blooming in the gardens. During the fair, guests will enjoy the wisdom of a number of guest speakers, have the opportunity to participate in guided walks around the grounds and in the woodlands, and attend the many hands-on workshops that have been planned.

The herb and food fair will also feature cooking demonstrations using herbs from the gardens – thus creating fresh and tasty treats. With many activities and live musical entertainment on the grounds, the event is suitable for people with special needs and welcomes thousands of food-loving visitors each year.

Admission to this event is free and everyone is invited. The fair will be held on Saturday, June 1, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Bastyr University located at 14500 Juanita Drive NE in Kermore, Washington – just east of Seattle.
