Seattle bird event to nestle in April

March 31, 2013 by

The early April ‘Discovery Park Bird Tour’ is going to be ideal for adults and children and provides the opportunity for people to come out and discover the wonder of birding.

For people who enjoy backyard bird watching, this tour will provide a chance for them to get up close and personal. Poster printing may have been used to promote this activity to the people in this community and the surrounding regions.

During this tour, guests will be led by experienced experts who will provide informative information about the birds, habitats, foods, and much more. Many of the birds found on this tour will be of the migratory nature and may be year-round residents of Discovery Park.

Children who attend this event must be with an adult and should be reminded that birds are skittish in nature, so quietness is important. Guests will be invited to ask questions and receive answers, and they are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day of the event, A good pair of binoculars will come in handy for exploring birds at a distance.

The cost is $3 per person and all ages are welcome, although it is best to pre-register as a fast take up is expected. The Discovery Park Bird Tour will be occurring on Saturday, April 9, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at Discovery Park located at 3801 W. Government Way in Seattle, Washington. To learn more or to register for this tour, please visit the Discovery Park website or call it during regular business hours.
