The Seattle VegFest is taking place for two days at the end of this month. The show is presented by the Vegetarians of Washington.

The festival is expected to feature over 200 companies that will be providing free food samples. There will be vegetarian cooking demonstrations, information on the benefits of vegetarianism, representatives from local community organizations, a book store, and free health checks, including artery scans. In addition, Zero & Somebuddy will be performing their clown show for children several times each day.

Many medical professionals will also be speaking during the festival. They are set to discuss such topics as ‘The Vegetarian Advantage’, ‘Prevent and Reverse Common Diseases’ and ‘Vegan on $4 a day’. Also, anyone who joins the Vegetarians of Washington during the festival will receive a free tote bag filled with goodies and promotional items.

Many of the Seattle organizations that will be participating in the festival will likely be contacting their local stationery printers to help them provide printed material to those who are looking for information. This may include brochures, booklets, and business cards.

Seattle VegFest will be held at the Seattle Center from March 29 to 30 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm each day. Admission is $8 or free for those aged 12 and under. To find out more about the festival, or the Vegetarians of Washington, call 206-706-2635.
