Local extravaganza to offer fun to adults and kids alike

Now just a week away, the ‘17th Annual Eggravaganza’ is being presented by the Redmond Lion, the City of Redmond, and the Redmond Kiwanis, offering something for every member of the family while centered on the annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Those who attend will enjoy numerous activities and games and should look out for poster printing in the area, which is often used to promote events like this.

This year’s event features more than 10,000 prize-filled Easter Eggs and candy, a totally separate Easter Egg hunt for toddlers, prizes awarded to those who find the “Golden Eggs, and a 5K scrambled egg run. This is a ‘rain or shine hunt’ with a number of activities like children’s arts and crafts, face painting, bunny photos, and an assortment of games.

Parents should not miss out on the fun and are reminded to bring their cameras, and additional film, to take snapshots of their kids enjoying the celebrations. Parents are reminded to bring the children’s baskets for collecting the colorful eggs that will be turned in for prizes. The hunt starts at 10:00 am.

There is no cost associated with this event, and the date to set aside is Saturday, March 30, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Redmond City Hall Campus located at 15670 NE 85th Street in Redmond, Washington.
