Magic comes to Olympia

Magical Strings in Concert will appear this Saturday, June 30, at Traditions Care and World Folk Art located at 300 Fifth Avenue, SW. in Olympia, Washington. This performance will begin at 8:00 pm.

Using music, story, and verse, the wonders of Ireland will appear to the audience in this great performance. Magical Strings will use their own handmade Celtic harps, hammered dulcimers, pennywhistles, and concertina to present this performance. Pam and Philip Boulding will share this lively Irish music with the audience through their new compositions, which were inspired by their travels in and around Ireland. These two grand virtuoso musicians will weave a fantastic story for the audience to enjoy.

This performance is augmented by the violin, cello, and various other instruments found around the world. The duo’s sound has drawn a large and loyal group of followers, which has captivated traditional Celtic arrangements. Considered to have an expressive and virtuosity style has long been described as graceful and warm, the Bouldings’ music is sure to transports the audience into another world where it can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Everyone is welcome and will find their feet tapping to the magical sounds that surround them on this great evening.

Tickets for this performance are $15 per person and $10 for student and low-income individuals.
