Tonight’s Comedy in the Box event is part of a series that runs each month and features different entertainers fashioned in cabaret–style. Poster printing might have been used to relate information about this cabaret evening to people from this community, as well as those in surrounding communities.

Comedy in a Box evenings are planned in conjunction around the Seattle Comedy Competition. People are invited to come out and see how the Black Box Theatre is converted into a comfortable cabaret, and to enjoy some of the leading comedians working the circuit today.

These evenings feature a headline act that includes two opening comedians. There is a bar available throughout the evening located in the lobby, and some of the comedians are a bit more the bluesy in style than others, but the audience is sure to enjoy a great time. The show is recommended for people over the age of 21 and photo ID may be required.

Tickets for this event cost $17 per adult, or $15 for military, plus there is the usual $3 administration fee collected by the Washington Center.

The evening’s entertainment will take place on Thursday, February 27, at 7:30 pm at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts located at 512 Washington Street Southeast in Olympia, Washington. To find our more or to purchase tickets, please visit the center’s website or call thebox office at 360-753-8585.
