Longview music fans in for a Diamond of a night

People who want to believe they are in the same room as the legendary Neil Diamond himself might be interesting in seeing ‘Play Me: The Music of Neil Diamond’ later this month.

The band, fronted by Chris Waggoner, kicked off its national and maiden tour earlier this year to rave reviews. Poster printing, brochure printing, and other printing services might have been used to promote this tribute to people in this city and the surrounding cities.

Coming all the way from New Mexico, Waggoner brings Neil Diamond to life and performs some of his most famous signature songs. He is backed up by the 10-piece Play Me group. This special maiden tour concert is in memory of Bill Waggoner, Chris’ brother and former President of the City of Kirkland Planning Commission. Ryan Waggoner, Bill’s son, will be attending the performance.

Special guest appearances will be made by Mark Morris, an alumni singer, and Lori Gayle Willcuts, the two-time winner of the Miss Cowlitz County. This performance will have assigned seating and parking is available free of charge at the venue.

Tickets for assigned seating costs $30 per person. The tribute will be happening on Friday, July 26, at 8:00 pm at the Columbia Theatre located at 1231 Vandercook Way in Longview, Washington. To learn more about this musician, the performance, future events at the venue, or to purchase tickets, please visit the Columbia Theatre website or call their box office at 360-575-8499.
