Kent gets camping

Coming up this Saturday and Sunday, Farm Snooze will be held at Mary Olson Farm located at 28728 Green River Road in Kent, Washington. This event will begin at 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 21, and run until 8:00 am on Sunday.

Guests are invited to pitch their tent and bunk out under the shimmering stars at Mary Olson Farm. This should be a great family-fun event with all ages being welcome to join other families and make new friends. This campout includes a host of activities and fun events, including an assortment of games, a marshmallow roast, a hot dog roast, and a scavenger hunt. For those who require a tent, the outdoor gear company REI is loaning free camping supplies. In order to obtain the free supplies, participants must reserve their equipment and supplies as soon as possible. This event is co-sponsored by Green Trails Maps and REI.

Farm Snoozes can be customized to suit groups including church groups, youth groups, and scout troops. These groups can range in size and can be established for earning badges or just for relaxing and enjoyable nights away. They are also great for birthday parties and other special occasions.

Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to advertise this night-time camp out to families and camping groups in the area. Admission is $25 per person (or $20 per person for groups of six or more) and children under four are admitted free.
