Simon Lynge KSER Benefit Concert

April 16, 2012 by

On Friday, May 11th, KSET will be hosting the Simon Lygne Benefit Concert at the Hartley Mansion, a world class neurological center, located at 2320 Rucker Avenue in Everett, Washington. This benefit concert will begin at 7pm.

Simon Lynge, a songwriter and singer who hails from Greenland, will be performing a benefit concert at the historic Hartley Mansion with all proceeds going to KSET, an independent public radio station, 90.7 Fm. The melodic sounds of Simon Lynge echo the sounds and beauty of his native homeland. As Greenland’s first solo artist to release an album in the UK, he was also the first solo artist to play in the UK’s Glastonbury Festival, which was an honor celebrated by his native home. His performances have been seen far and wide with tours in Europe and the United States. IN 2011, Simon toured Europe with Emmylou Harris. The audience will enjoy this musical evening and the performers grand wit and charm, plus this is a great way to help out a struggling radio station. Simon’s outlook on life is reflected in his debut album, “The Future”. Simon’s music is shaped through a receptive mind, a musical family, an open heart, and opportunity and desire. He is one of the newest up and coming solo artists on the music charts today.
