Science made simple for Everett kids

June 12, 2013 by

An upcoming session called ‘Candy Chemistry’ will teach the children in Everett some interesting candy-making facts that can be explored through their own imagination.

Part of the ‘Science Sleuths’ series, classes are designed to create an interest in sciences and mathematics for children, through which they can build their self-confidence and character. Throughout this session, the group will work on the community connection with the museum and other children, as well as spark the curiosity of the guests. The children will be able to create interactive exhibits in a stimulating and safe, supervised environment. All materials required for this class are included in the price of the event.

Science Sleuths is a learning program created by the Imagine Children’s Museum and offers children between the ages of 6 – 12 the opportunity to learn about science and math in a fun and educational environment, while encouraging hands-on participation. Poster printing, flyer printing, and other printing services may have been used to make these unique classes possible for children in this community, and to encourage parents to enroll their kids.

The price is $15 per child for museum members and $20 per child for non-members, and all children are welcome to join in with the fun. The class will be taking place this Friday, June 14, at 1:00 pm at the Imagine Children’s Museum located at 1502 Wall Street in Everett, Washington. To learn more about this session, please visit the Imagine Children’s Museum or call the museum during normal business hours.
