Address celebrates the birthday of Naval Station Everett

March 26, 2014 by

The State of the Station address will take place next month in Everett, and will hold a dual purpose as it will also be the 20th birthday celebration of Naval Station Everett.

The event is presented by the Economic Alliance Snohomish County, and its keynote speaker will be Captain James Duke Jr. The station is the second largest employer in Snohomish County and guests will learn about the role the station plays in Everett. A sit-down lunch will also be served.

Since the event will take place on a Naval base, those who plan to attend must undergo a background check.

This day may also be a good networking event for both business leaders and naval personnel. It could be a chance to learn about ways local companies can serve the station and create business partnerships. With that in mind, many who plan to attend this Everett event will likely consider placing a new business card printing order to make sure they have enough cards.

The State of the Station address and lunch will take place in the Grand Vista Ballroom at Naval Station Everett on April 16 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. Tickets are $30 for Economic Alliance Snohmish County members, and non-members will pay an additional $10. To find out more about the event, contact Kellie Schwacha at 425-248-4227.
