Bruce Gagnon Speaks – Endless War and Economic Crisis

On Friday, April 27 Anti-war Activist and Speaker, Bruce Gagnon, will give a speech entitled “The Deadly Connection: Endless War and Economic Crisis at Mount Baker Theatre, Encore Room, located at 104 N. Commercial Street in Bellingham, Washington. This event will begin at 7pm.

Organizer of Global Networks against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space, Bruce Gagnon, will be returning to the Bellingham’s Mount Baker Theatre to give a speech in the Encore Room on United States Expanding Militarism and its impact on the economic crisis here on in the homeland. He will be sharing his thoughts on sustainable production and how military industrial complexes can be converted easily with a little promotion. This event is co-sponsored by Whatcom Peach and Justice, as well as Veterans for Peace. Bruce Gagnon has just returned from JeJe Island in South Korea, where he was involved in demonstrations protesting against the construction of a large American Naval base being built. For guests interested in a better understanding on how militarized bases affect economic situations at home, this event will cover a vast amount of information. There will be an open question and answer period towards the end of the evening. Guests will have lots to ponder on their way home.

There is no charge for anyone to attend. This event is open to everyone, but it is expected to be a full house, possibly as many will have found out about the event thanks to poster printing undertaken to promote it.
