A charity golf tournament soon to take place in Auburn is calling for sponsors and players for its third consecutive event.

The Scramble for Safe Families Charity Golf Tournament will be held at the Washington National Golf Club located in Auburn. The charity event raises money to support an anti-domestic violence and child abuse program.

The golf tournament will feature a hole-in-one competition, a putting contest, and a silent auction. A banquet will be held, which will also include a raffle. People can enter as either an individual or a four-member team, with registration costs varying.

The Jennifer Beach Foundation will benefit from the proceeds of the tournament. The organization provides help, support, and education for the local community, addressing issues raised regarding domestic violence and child abuse. A number of programs are also available through the organization, including one that aims to raise awareness and help prevent violence for teenagers, as well as a children’s club for those who have lived in an environment affected by domestic violence.

Counseling and financial understanding is also provided for those who are survivors of violence in the home, all free of charge. The golf tournament will be promoted in the wider area, possibly using the banner printing services of a local print company to advertise sponsors of the event and highlight areas of significance on the course. For anyone who wants to sponsor the event, there are various packages available.
The tournament will tee off on September 14.
