Evening seminar puts poetry in motion

This evening, the Potpouri II: Sons and Sonnets seminar will be taking place at the Wilsonville Public Library, in the Oak Room, located at 8200 SW Wilsonville Road in Wilsonville, Oregon. The times for the session are 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Recommended to high-school students and adults, this event is an adult seminar based on literature. During the session, a second selection of renowned small poems will be presented for the audience’s perusal. The audience has the role of deciding whether the selections should gain the status of ‘Famous’. There will be informal discussion about the selections for each session from the reading list, which can be picked up in advance at the Wilsonville Library.

The seminar series is being presented by Professor Ehrstine and has proved to be extremely popular and held in high regard. There are films presented, as well as text that will assist in the study of these poems, along with additional notes that can be obtained from the library. Discussion with this group is light and quite lively, so the audience will experience the poems from various perspectives.

Poster printing and flyer printing were probably used to promote this seminar to resident of the community and friends of the library. Admission to this event is $35 per person.
