Shamrock run and challenge

On Saturday, March 18th, 2012 beginning at 8 am, the Shamrock Run will take place at Tom McCall Waterfront Park located at 1020 SW Naito Parkway, Portland, Oregon. This even starts at the SW Naito Parkway at Pine Street – across from the Waterfront Park and finish at the SW Naito Parkway at Taylor Street on the south of the park near Salmon Springs Fountain.

This event features several running distances to challenge event the professional runner to receive a good workout. All the runs start in the same location, but all at different times, so it is important to know which run you plan to participate in. At 7:45 am the 15 km Shamrock challenge begins, which is a 9.3 mil hilly course through the business core of Portland, at 8:15 am the Shamrock Run begins and is a 8 km run through the downtown, at 8:45 am the 1 km Leprechaun Lap starts and is a run/walk for children 12 and under who are accompanied by an adult, at 9:20 the Shamrock race starts and is open to runners of all ages, and at 9:35 the 5 km Shamrock stride begins and is open to walker of any age. This course is 3.1 miles and is designed to be nothing more than a fitness walk through the community.

Printing companies have prepared the flyer printing, registration printing, and other printed documents for this program and it is now ready to go.
