Metal group gets ready to rock Medford

October 9, 2013 by

Coming to Medford this weekend is the metal band Artemesis, presented by the JCM Book and Management. The show is designed to be enjoyed by all ages, but a mature audience is recommended.

The band was formed in Spring 2011 and is from Denver, Colorado. Its members are Matt Meyer and Michael Stancel on guitar, Ricco Burkhardt on drums, Josh Kelly on bass, and Sam Johnson who is the groups vocalist. As with any appearance from a band, it is likely that local print companies have been involved in both promoting the show and carrying out poster printing so that fans can leave the performance with a souvenir.

People who enjoy groups of the ilk of Arch Enemy, Havok, Testament, The Black Dahlia Murder, Revocation, Death, Megadeth, Allegaeon, and Lamb of God are more than likely to enjoy this particular group. At present, the support acts have not been announced, so check the group’s Facebook page for updates.

As musical management, JCM says that it guides the groups they management to achieve what they are seeking in life and to move forward with it, according to owner and founder, Jessica Reeves.

Tickets for this performance cost $6 per person and are available at Brown Paper Tickets. Artemesis and Special Friends will be performing on Saturday, October 12, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at MusicHead located at 350 South Riverside Avenue in Medford, Oregon.
