Green Gardening Fair

On Saturday, April 28th, Oregon Outdoors and Recreation will be hosting the Green Gardening Fair and Native Plant Sale at Tualatin Hills Nature Park located at 15655 S.W. Millikan Way in Beaverton, Oregon. This outdoor event will be taking place rain or shine and will run from 10am to 2pm.

This event is being sponsored by the Friends of the Taulatin Hills Nature Park and is held annually. This event is loved by gardeners and those wishing to put in gardens at their home. As part of this event, participants will learn about the different types of flowers and plants that grow native in the area. Besides the natural plants, gardeners will also be able to take advantage of the experts’ advice on gardening techniques. As part of the day’s events there will be a composting, gardening, flowers, plants, and many other things available at the various informational booths found throughout the grounds. This year there will be many experts available offer all kinds of gardening tips and hints about natural gardens, as well. As part of the excitement, guests will be able to purchase a wide selection of annual and perennial flowers, trees, shrubs, and much more. Many of the gardening techniques presented at this event will be learned through hands-on experience. Hand outs for this event may have been prepared by local print companies.
