One way for metal, motorcycles, and music to come together in Sparks is through the ever popular Street Vibrations Motorcycle Festival event scheduled this September. Celebrating its 19th year, this annual event attracts over 50,000 motorcycle riders and spectators from across the country.

The event involves live entertainment, contests, stunt and ride-in shows, and tours to please all biking enthusiasts. All event venues and locations within the region are involved in this huge festival including merchants in Sparks, Reno, Virginia City, and Lake Tahoe. One of the favorite segments of the event is the ride to Lake Tahoe with unparalleled views of one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in the world and surrounding forests.

Other activities include arm-wrestling contests, slow race competitions, and an expo with 300 vendors with a special tattoo expo for those interested in extraordinary body art. Bars will be offering drink specials and contests of their own throughout the festival.

Printing companies provide services needed such as banner printing to direct riders appropriately on the tours and rides and flyer printing to announce the festival. Flyers are distributed from many retailers and merchants in the Northern Nevada area months in advance of the festival.

The event is tagged as a ‘no colors’ ride, meaning gang and club colors and symbols may not be worn or displayed. The event is geared for safety and fun and event management intends to maintain it accordingly.
