A small thriving ghost town, Virginia City is located about a half hour outside of Reno in the mountains of Northern Nevada and is the host spot for many activities throughout the year, with the next one being the International Camel Races.

Now in the 54th year, the event will include ostriches, camels, and emus in the race, complete with jockeys maneuvering the unusual competitors through the winding areas in Virginia City.
Sponsor spots are open giving adventurous people an opportunity to race one of the exotic animals in this lively event. There are various sponsorship levels, each of which includes booth space and other opportunities for company visibility and promotion.

Vendor booths are also available. With the races drawing 10,000 people, vendors flock to this type of event to capture potential business from the traffic flow. Banner printing is a frequent request among print companies for large events such as the camel races. Banners are often used throughout races to mark the route and attract appropriate attention to vendor booths and sponsors.

Event transportation is provided, and shuttle service tickets can be purchased on the event website, which is also the place to head to for those who want to buy tickets or read a schedule of the events and races taking place.

This famous event will take place over the September 6-8 weekend in this fun mountainous town. The gates open at 10:00 am each day, with the races starting promptly at noon.
