G Train, the Musical

April 23, 2012 by

On Friday, May 5th, G Train, the Musical, will be held at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts located at 100 South Virginia Street in Reno, Nevada. This performance is scheduled to run from 1pm to 4pm.

In this play, the audience learns that the New York City subway system can come to a grinding halt for commuters at any time. In this play, staged in a G Train atmosphere, the author, Chistian McLeer, takes an up close and personal look at five strangers who are very different from each other, yet are forced to spend time confined together when the “Go Train” they are riding in manages to get stuck inside one of the many tunnels that cross the train lines.

This is a musical that the entire family would enjoy and has a message that combines the classical sensibilities with today’s modern pop sound to create a good old time musical comedy. In this musical play, there are operatic vocals, as well as stunning rap numbers that are all found in the rich cultural tapestry of New York City. In New York City, this play sold out every performance, even during the off-off Broadway run. Guests will enjoy the music and find themselves laughing uncontrollably during different scenes.

Print companies will most like have been called upon to prepare some of the promotional material or programs used for this event. Tickets are currently on sale and the Nevada Opera is suggesting ticket reservations in advance.
