Madness and menopause on stage at the Luxor

On Thursday, March 1, 2012, the Luxor in Las Vegas, 3900 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, Nevada will be hosting “Menopause, the musical”. This musical performance opened in March of 2001 and has been well received every since. Focusing on menopause, the script was written by Jeanie Linders and is ninety minutes of hilarity from the 50’s to the 80’s about women who are experience the “change” of life.

This performance is set in a large department store and four unrelated women, who have no common ground, bang into each other at a lingerie sale. This has an all female cast that create a roaring comedy out of hot flashes, mood swings, binges on chocolate, sweats during the night, and how very forgetful they have become.

This musical has been performed in more than 250 cities in the United States, plus has been well received internationally as well in Canada, Israel, Mexico and numerous other countries. This comedy features snappy dialogue, lively spirits, and light, good natured humor. To date, more than $500,000.00 dollars has been raised to help the fight ovarian cancer and research. This show is a miracle when it comes to promoting cancer awareness and raising funds for fighting the disease. A portion of the proceeds are always donated to local ovarian cancer chapters to help raise educational awareness in their area.

Tickets have returned from the printing company and are now on sale. Tickets are $70 or $88, depending on where your seating appears in the theatre. Get your tickets early, as many have already sold in a very short period.
