Car and motorcycle show to raise funds for charity

September 23, 2017 by

The 21st annual Desert Thunder is taking place in the Las Vegas in less than a week. It is presented by the Las Vegas Corvette Association and the Las Vegas Combat Vets Motorcycle Association.

A portion of the proceeds raised this year will be donated to Hope for Brynne and Kendall, who are inflicted with childhood Alzheimer’s.

Those interested in participating can still register their vehicles until the day of the show. Fees are $25 for a classic car in advance and $30 on the day of the show, and $10 or $15 for a custom bike.

There will be two concerts featuring bands such as Flat Six, Dawn’s Highway, and Electric Hound. There will also be a live auction and a raffle (tickets are $5 each). There are also set to be several contests and games taking place over the two days. In addition, vendors will be on hand to sell merchandise and food.

This event will probably attract fans and motorcycle owners from all over, including nearby Las Vegas. To spread the word, organizers may decide to send out cards provided by local postcard printing firms.

Desert Thunder will be held at the Buffalo Bills Resort from September 29 to 30. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the gate. Call 1-888-774-6668 to learn more.
