Soprano start to the Fort Collins weekend

January 31, 2014 by

As part of the Virtuoso Concert Series in Fort Collins, soprano Nicole Cabell performs this evening along with the students who take classes with her. Poster printing is bound to have been used to advertise and promote this special student performance to residents in this community and in the outlying regions.

Cabell is quickly backing up a claim to be one of the most sought-after sopranos in today’s music world. After winning the BBC Singer of the World Competition nine years ago, and as her residency at the Colorado State University School of the Arts nears completion, a selection of performances with students in her master classes are being made open to the public.

Cabell’s debut album, named ‘Soprano’, was picked as the Editor’s Choice by the renowned Gramophone and was subject to critical acclaim. The 36-year-old has added operatic performances to her repertoire since, appearing in classic productions like Roméo et Juliette and Die Zauberflöte. This public performance promises to be memorable to all, as Cabell and her students aim to delight the audience in soprano style.

Admission to this public concert is free and everyone is welcome. The concert will be happening this evening, January 31, at 7:00 pm at the Organ Recital Hall at the UCA located at 1400 Remington Street in Fort Collins, Colorado. To learn more about this concert, the performer, or the school, please visit the Organ Recital Hall or call the office during regular business hours.
