Phantom walk to give fantastic frights

October 14, 2012 by

An evening event in honor of Halloween is on the horizon and is open to teenagers and older people. Guests can walk the historic, and possibly even haunted, Manitou Springs grounds. This event is by reservation only and has been sending shivers up spines since 2002.

This haunted and historic walking tour, called the ‘Phantoms of Evergreen Cemetery Lantern Crawl’, is an annual event and will see Stephanie Water, an author, signing autographed copies of her more recent book ‘Ghosts of Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak’, and a scenic walk through the Haunted Manitou Springs – a renowned vacation destination that has been used by Native Americans as a spiritual sanctuary for years and features mineralized waters known for healing the mind and the body.

These historic walking tours last approximately 90 minutes and leave the entry gate every 10 minutes. This exciting, yet scintillatingly spooky, walk will have the hairs on the back of guests’ necks rising as they wonder what to expect next.

Poster printing, postcard printing, flyer printing, and stationery printing may have been used to promote this function to the residents of the area. Tickets for this event are priced at $15 per person and this event is recommended for teenagers and older’.

The event is happening on Saturday, October 20, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Evergreen Cemetery, Historic Evergreen Chapel located at 1005 S Hancock Avenue in Colorado Springs, Colorado. To reserve a space, or to learn more, please visit the Phantoms of Evergreen Cemetery Lantern Crawl website or call 719-685-2409.
