Festival to light up Colorado Springs

November 9, 2012 by

The 28th Annual Colorado Springs Festival of Lights Parade, with a theme this year of ‘Home for the Holidays’, will kick off with a holiday parade in downtown Colorado Springs before traveling south on Tejon to Vermijo Avenue. Jerri Marr, who is a supervisor at the Pike and San Isabel National Forest, is acting as supervisor this year.

This is a group of events that celebrates the holiday season in December. This event includes the Festival of Lights parade, artistic programs, and numerous other activities. This is a fundraising event for the whole family and directs the proceeds to the Empty Stocking Fund. Guests are asked to bring $1 and donated it to the collection elves as they travel along the parade route. While the festivities happen, local stores and restaurants will be open, so it is an opportunity to bring the family and enjoy a wonderful evening on the town featuring live entertainment and much more.

Poster printing, flyer printing, and banner printing are likely to have been used to advertise and promote this great family evening to residents of the community and surrounding communities.

The Colorado Springs Festival of Lights will be happening on Saturday, December 1, beginning at 5:50 pm in Downtown Colorado Springs between Tejon Street and Vermijo Avenue, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. To learn more about the festival highlights, please visit the 28th Annual Colorado Springs Festival of Lights website, which also features a map of the parade route for those who want to plan ahead.
