Art lovers invited to take a Peak

This weekend’s Pikes Peak Arts Fest (PPAF) is the 9th annual event of its kind and is located in the picturesque setting in downtown Colorado Springs, featuring local, regional, and national artisans.

Poster printing, postcard printing, and brochure printing may have been used to spread the word to local residents in this community and people in the surrounding areas.

The fest is being held in one of America’s most beautiful parks, which has an outstanding view of the Pikes Peak Mountain. Many of the exhibits will be from PPAF artists with more than 100 booths filled with visual art. More than 30,000 people are expected to attend and there will be live stage performances throughout the day. Exhibits will include watercolor, acrylic, oil, and many other media.

This year’s PPAF is acting as the inaugural year for introducing the New Artist Program, which is designed to assist and attract local artists. The program waives the booth fee for them and provides the new artist with free rental on their canopy, if they are selected by the judges to display their artwork. This year, five new artists have been selected.

Admission to this fest is free and everyone is invited to come out and support the artisans. It will be happening from tomorrow, July 5, to Sunday, July 7 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at the America the Beautiful Park located at 126 Cimino Drive in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
