Renowned garden and home show returning to Denver

Centennial residents will soon be traveling to nearby Denver for some fresh ideas on how they can improve their houses and yards this spring. Later this month, the Colorado Garden and Home Show will be making its return to the area. Brochure printers are almost certainly seeing more business as the exhibitors participating in this nine-day event prepare to share information about their products and services with new customers.

The show is the oldest and largest of its kind in the Rocky Mountain Region. Representatives from more than 650 American and Canadian companies will be on hand to offer their expertise with homeowners. The event will feature 50 demonstrations and seminars on such subjects as interior renovation and landscaping.

Attendees will be able to walk through 14 sample gardens, all of which will showcase the types of flowers and shrubbery ideal for the Colorado climate. There will also be a flower show, the winner of which will be selected by a panel of professional judges.

The Garden and Home Show will take place at the Colorado Convention Center (700 Fourteenth Street). It will kick off on Saturday, February 15 and continue through Sunday, February 23. All proceeds from ticket sales will go toward horticultural scholarships and grants for Colorado residents.

Those interested in attending may call (303) 228-8000 for information on ticket pricing and a detailed schedule of events.
