Wauwatosa set to celebrate its neighborhoods

June 25, 2017 by

Wauwatosa will once again be hosting Tosa’s Night Out this summer, and the whole community is welcome to come and participate in the activities that have been planned for the occasion.

The week of events will kick off with two nights of block parties. Neighbors are invited to plan events that bring residents together, and they can then register them to have representatives from local law enforcement attend as well.

After the neighborhood block parties, there will be an evening of four regional block parties. These will also be attended by police officers on foot, motorcycle, and bicycle, and there will also be costumed characters.

The Night Out activities will draw to a close with a celebration planned for the Milwaukee County Zoo. This will include live music, displays about health and safety, a scavenger hunt and coloring contest, and complete access to the grounds of the zoo. A printing services provider can work with the planners of an event such as this to design and then print coloring sheets, banners, and any other products needed to keep a week like this running smoothly.

All of this will be taking place in Wauwatosa from July 29 until August 2. Anyone who would like to register a block party, see a schedule of the activities, or find out more about the event in general can do so by visiting its website.
