Wauwatosa residents asked to show some love for local schools

December 24, 2016 by

People from across Wauwatosa are asked to come to an event where they can show their support for the community’s schools, and have fun at the same time.

The Education Foundation of Wauwatosa (EFW) will be holding a themed Black and White catered affair fundraiser. The gala evening will feature wine and dine bags, as well as both live and silent auctions, heavy hors d’ouvres, raffles, and a cash bar. Music for the event will be supplied by The Accoustix, so guests will be able to mingle, socialize, and even dance the night away.

Monies raised through this activity will be used to help support Wauwatosa students, teachers, and schools. Guests are asked to come dressed in white and black cocktail attire, and accessorize their outfits with pieces in their local school colors. Mailing services can be utilized to send out invitations for a function such as this.

The organizers of the gala are also seeking business sponsorships and donations for the live or silent auctions. All contributions are welcome.

The Black and White catered affair will take place at the Wauwatosa’s Crowne Plaza Hotel on February 4. Tickets have been priced at $80 each if purchased before January 24th. More information is available on the event’s website for both guests and those who would like to act as a sponsor or make a donation.
