Wauwatosa outdoor art show to return for another year

This summer, Wauwatosa will once again be playing host to a juried art fair that will present the works of more than 75 local artists displayed in a public outdoor show.

The Firefly Art Fair will include works produced using a variety of media, and the members of the public are invited to browse through the pieces on display. There will be food and drink available for purchase, and live entertainment will be performing for the crowd.

The fair will be held on the grounds of the historic Kneeland-Walker House, and has been organized by the Wauwatosa Historical Society. Admission will be $5 for adults, while children under the age of 12 will be admitted free of charge.

Applications are currently being accepted from artists, and the works will be juried before they are added to the display. Booklet printing can be used to create catalogs that describe the various works of art that will be on display and the artists that created them, which can then be given to those who come out to an event such as this.

The 31st Annual Firefly Art Fair will be held on August 5 and 6 at 7406 Hillcrest Drive, and additional information and also a link for artists to apply for inclusion in the exhibition can be found on the Wauwatosa Historical Society’s website.
