Kids’ Day is July 18 and will feature a live reptile program, hands-on arts and crafts activities, and several nature programs aimed at children.

On July 20, guests can explore the Anacostia River in a canoe. This event will be hosted by the Anacostia Watershed Society.

Guests will get to see the Park After Dark on July 21 from 7:30 to 9:00 PM. On July 22, Nucleus will be performing Music in the Garden from 5:30 to 7:30, and guests are encouraged to bring a picnic.

Other activities during the week will include ranger-led walks around the gardens.
