Washington rooftop event to raise funds to fight Alzheimer’s

Next month, an event will be held high above Washington in support of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and to help find a cure for this illness.

Embassy Row Hotel’s Rooftop will be the location for a special happy hour session, and from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm, guests will have a chance to enjoy an evening of fun with friends old and new. The hotel will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of food and drinks during the function to The Walk to End Alzheimer’s, and those who purchase a Corona or Corona Lite will see $2 donated to this cause.

As the daylight turns to dusk, a DJ will provide some high-energy entertainment to keep the crowd on their feet, and while they enjoy the party, the attendees can take in bird’s eye views of the city’s skyline. There is no charge to enter the event. Banner printing and other professional marketing services for this type of occasion can be provided by an area printer.

This special fundraiser, which will mark the summer solstice by raising funds to fight Alzheimer’s, will be held on the evening of June 21. The venue is located at 2015 Massachusetts Avenue Northwest, and additional information and a chance to register for the fun can be found on its online event listing.
