A fundraiser that has been planned for the Washington D.C. area will see partygoers rocking out to a ‘Battle of the Bands’ in support of Children’s National Hospital.

The evening, which will open with the Kid Rock ‘Battle of the Bands’, will see local performers taking to the stage to compete for a chance to perform at Seacrest Studios. Each musical group will perform two songs, and these will be judged by celebrities and musical professionals from Washington.

Along with the musical competition, there will be a prize drawing and an assortment of other activities. A portion (10%) of the proceeds from the door will be donated to the children’s hospital, and those who plan on participating are encouraged to undertake their own fundraising efforts a well.

Once the Battle of the Bands has been concluded, Mommy’s Little Helper and Mercury’s Velvet will keep the crowd entertained throughout the evening. Both food and beverages will be available for purchase, and the ticket price for the function start at $20 each. Flyer printing can be utilized by a printer to craft an assortment of marketing materials that can help to ensure that this type of function is a success.

This musical competition will be taking place in Bethesda’s The Barking Dog on January 6. Further details can be found on the fundraising campaign’s website.
