Wall Township kids invited to hop on in to egg hunt

Kids in Wall Township are invited to take part in a special day that has been planned for the community.

The organizers of this year’s Easter Egg Hunt have hidden 5,000 colorful eggs throughout the township, and they have been filled with peanut-free treats or small toys. In among these, special golden eggs will be placed, and the children who find one of these will receive a basket that has been filled with goodies.

The Easter Bunny will also be stopping by to spend time with the kids while they hunt for the hidden treasures. A stationery printer can be called upon to provide party favors, such as coloring sheets, custom pens, notepads and more for those who take part.

Parents are encouraged to come out with their son or daughter and enjoy the morning’s activities. They are also asked to make sure to bring along a bag or other container to hold their children’s finds. The event is free of charge, and no pre-registration is required. In an effort to ensure fairness, the youngsters will be grouped into three different age categories while they look for eggs.

The activity has been scheduled for April 8, starting at 11:00am at the Wall Municipal Complex. If the weather is inclement on that day, it will be rescheduled to April 9. Further information is available on the community’s website.
