Vero Beach butterfly release planned in honor of mothers

March 29, 2018 by

A Vero Beach event has been planned that will celebrate the role a mom can play in her child’s life, whether they are little or all grown up.

The public is welcome to take part in a free event, which will see butterflies released in memory of mothers. Everyone is welcome to participate, and according to the organizers, this is being done to symbolize hope, love and serenity in moving forward.

Before the butterflies take to the sky, there will be an hour-long program that has been designed to be both comforting and uplifting. One this has been concluded, each guest will be given their butterfly and will then gather together to let them go. The occasion is open to people of all ages, and parents and children are encouraged to attend the function together.

Anyone who would like to find out more about this day of honoring mothers has been asked to contact Diane Saunier at (772) 562-2365 for further details. A local printing services provider can be counted upon to supply any printed materials needed to help make this type of function even more special for those who take part.

The Mother’s Day Memorial Butterfly Release, which will be held on May 13, will be at 1950 20th Street in Vero Beach. It has been organized by Cox-Gifford Seawinds Community Outreach.
