Adventures ahead for Vernon seniors

The Vernon Senior Center on going on multiple trips in the coming months.

On April 26, the Center is going to the Libraries of Manhattan. Attendees will start with a lunch at the food court of Grand Central Station before heading to the Morgan Library for a self-guided tour. The cost is $87 and attendees are to meet at the Vernon Green Circle before 6:45am. The group expects to be back around 8:00 pm.

On May 30, the senior center is attending Best of Boston. Attendees will ride the Duck while a tour guide narrates the trip around Boston. Guests will also have a chance to drive the Duck. At Quincy Market, guests will be able to eat and do some shopping. The group will also go to the New England Aquarium. The cost is $103 and attendees are to meet at the Vernon Green Circle before 7:30 am. The group expects to be back around 7:00 pm.

On June 12, the senior center will go to the Saint Clements Castle for a Luncheon Show. A special lunch will be served inside the Prince Edward Ballroom. Drummer, multilingual singer, and dancer Vincent Talarico will entertain the guests. The cost is $85 and attendees are to meet at the Vernon Green Circle before 10:00 am. The group expects to be back at 4:30 pm.
