North Miami Beach area to host Mardis Gras-style party

An event has been planned that will bring a taste of a New Orleans Mardis Gras celebration to the North Miami Beach area.

The masked ball, which will have a theme of a Mardis Gras festival, will feature Louisiana-style jazz, an open bar with cocktails traditional to New Orleans, and both small plate foods and King Cake dessert will be served. Wine that has been specially selected to complement the food will be also be available for anyone who wishes to enjoy a glass. Custom drinkware, which can be supplied by a printer, can add the final touch to a function such as this.

Guests for the evening are encouraged to come dressed in festive costumes or other clothing that fits the theme of the occasion in colors of gold, green, and purple. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos, and those who plan on attending are reminded to bring along their decorated masks to wear. The organizers have created an online photo album for anyone who needs some wardrobe inspiration and ideas for the evening.

North Miami Beach to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This January, people from all over North Miami Beach and the communities that surround it are invited to come together in a spirit of community to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The candlelight vigil, which will include music, singing, and spoken word pieces, will be held in the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Plaza, and all are welcome.

The theme for the evening will be ‘Dream/Believe/Remember’, and it has been organized to not only honor Dr. King, Jr. and his vision, but also to see his dream of togetherness and solidarity come to life.

Part of the event will be a circle of unity, where everyone can join in and pay homage to the civil rights leader and his vision. Banners can be printed for an event like this by a printer to include any design details the organizers wish, and since it will be used out of doors, it can be made from durable materials.

The Candlelight Vigil in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be held on January 17 in North Miami’s MOCA Plaza, which is located at 770 NE 125 Street, starting at 6:00 pm. Participation in the evening is free, and all are invited to attend.

North Miami Beach to welcome the holidays in festive style

This holiday season, North Miami Beach will be hosting a celebration, and it has been rumored that even Santa himself has decided to come and join in the fun.

The Snow Fest and Community Safety Day Parade will bring together people from all across the city in the festive spirit of the occasion. There will a wide assortment of activities to enjoy, including marching bands and other music, rides, floats, and different costumed characters will be on hand to meet and play with the kids.

The public can have their photos taken with Santa, enjoy ice skating, play on snow mountain, and climb the rock wall. There will also be bounce houses, giant slides, carnival games, arts and crafts, and the Grinch’s Grab Bag and Letters to Santa. When it is time for a bite to eat, there will be a wide range of food trucks from across the city on hand to feed the hungry crowd. A printer can use its wide format printing technology to produce banners and other themed decorations for an event such as this.

The event will take place on December 10 between 164th Street and 171st Street on NE 19th Avenue. The parade will begin at 6:00 pm, and snow passes for the kids will be $5 each. Anyone who wants to learn more can do so by visiting the city’s website.
