Hermitage hosts dinner for K9s

March 29, 2017 by

Residents in the Hermitage area are eagerly awaiting the City of Hermitage Police Pasta Dinner and Fundraiser. The afternoon event will put together much needed funds for one of the city’s most important programs.

The meal is a full pasta dinner complete with spaghetti and meatballs, a side salad, and some Italian garlic bread. A dessert and beverage are included in the price of admission. Take out orders are also available for those that want their dinner to go.

To help raise extra funds, the police department will also hold a huge basket auction. The oversized baskets have been filled with promotional products, gift cards, gourmet items, and many other goods. Each basket is built around a theme and will be sold to the highest bidder. A 50/50 raffle will also be held at the event. All proceeds go to benefit the Police’s K-9 program, which is not only used to locate illegal drugs, but also to find cadavers, bombs, and even locate missing people.

The City of Hermitage Police Pasta Dinner and Fundraiser will be held this Saturday, April 1, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Mercer County Shrine Club, located at 4201 Lamor Rd. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Anyone looking for more information should visit the event listing on the Hermitage website.
