December 4, 2017 by

Year of the Dog is coming up in the Chinese lunar calendar, and the Murry Hill area will be celebrating with a special event.

The festivities will include Chinese dance and music, as well as other examples of the country’s culture. It will be a family friendly function, and there will be lots to see and do for people of all ages.

The Kumble Center for the Performing Arts will act as the venue for this cultural event, and the well-known Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company will supply some of the entertainment. Golden Chinese dragons will take to the stage to the tune of folk music from China, and red lions will also be performing. A traditional marketplace is also on the agenda, and the entire show will run for approximately two hours with one intermission.

Tickets for this celebration of the lunar new year are being offered to the public at a price of $25.00 for adults and $12.50 for children. A discount if being offered for anyone who purchases passes for any three of the center’s eligible performances, and also for anyone who buys 15 or more passes for a single show. Poster printing can be utilized to produce advertising materials for this type of event.

This opportunity to take a cultural tour of china without ever having to leave home will be taking place on February 11, 2018. Anyone who is interested in finding out more can do so by visiting the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts website.
