The event offers one-stop shopping and a chance for businesses, artists, and crafters in the Fair Lawn area to increase their profile.

The Street Fairs are actually an organized event in the New Jersey area that moves from city to city. This year, it is stopping in Fair Lawn at two separate locations. Interested stores, small businesses, crafters, and artists can fill out their business forms on the website to sign up for a space along one of the main streets in town. This event offers an opportunity not only for these entrepreneurs to engage more directly with their customers, but also the chance to network more with each other.

For interested shoppers, the fairs provide the opportunity to peruse local goods while checking out the work of local painters, sculptors, graphic designers, quilters, and knitters. The event is also commonly a draw for street performers, so there may also be music, magic, performances, or juggling.

The Street Fairs 2017 will be held on June 11 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on the corners of Fair Lawn Ave. and Plaza Road and on River Rd. from Fair Lawn Ave. to Berdan Ave. The event is free to the public. For more information, visit the website.
