Baraboo invited to attend a night of creativity

October 8, 2017 by

Aspiring Baraboo artists who would like to improve their existing charcoal drawing skills, as well as those who are just looking for a new and different way to spend an evening may wish to save the date for an upcoming event.

Artist Robert Gorder will be hosting a workshop that will see even those who have no previous experience with using this medium craft their own version of ‘The Lilly’ to take home with them. Each person who participates will be given the materials, including a protective sleeve and matte, and will receive step-by-step instructions. The admission fee includes refreshments, and there will also be a drawing for a free ticket for entry into another activity organized by the host.

The admission price for the night will be $30 each, which includes the materials, instruction, and refreshments. Those who will be attending are asked to arrive 20 minutes early so that they can get settled in and will be ready to create when the workshop begins. Graphic design can be used to put together an assortment of flyers and other marketing materials for a locally based event such as this.

This evening of artistry will be held on November 13 at 630 West Pine Street. Everyone is welcome, and more information can be found by contacting the organizer through its website.
