Patrons of the Library are encouraged to place their names on a request list if they are interested in a new release item.

One of the upcoming events will take place this evening, December 4, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on ideas for ways to use a mason jar. This will be an idea exchange evening where participants will bring samples of their ideas for things they have done with mason jars for either display or practical purposes, and learn from others about how they have used the jars as well.

The next event planned is on Saturday, December 8 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am on the Civil War. Arn Kind, dressed as a Union soldier, will be talking about the Civil War and the soldiers’ experiences in this war in a fashion that children can understand. He is from the from the First Minnesota Volunteer infantry Regiment, which is a re-enactment group that creates authentic presentations.
