Fairmont theater workshops for kids set to return this summer

March 9, 2018 by

This summer, Fairmont children who are interested in taking to the stage while making new friends and having fun will have a chance to do all of this during workshops planned just for them.

The Children’s Theater Workshop and Play program, which is being hosted by the Fairmont Opera House, will once again be offering its session for kids from grades three to eight. Along with this, it has added a new one for children who are in grades K to two.

The first series of workshops, which will be for the younger group, will run from June 6 until June 8. They will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on each of the afternoons, and the kids will put on a performance at the Fairmont Opera House on the evening of the final day.

The workshops on offer for the older kids will run for one and a half weeks, and will begin on August 3. These will be held in the mornings, and their performances have been planned for August 10 and 11. A printing services company can supply T-shirts and other items to use during these types of learning events.

An open house for parents who would like to find out more about either of these summer options will be taking place on May 7 at the Fairmount Opera House. More details are available on the organizer’s website, and it highly recommends that all parents with a son or daughter who are interested in participating take part in this information evening.
