Event will decide the pick of Salisbury pork

March 29, 2017 by

The Pork in the Park festival is taking place over two days next month in Salisbury.

Four vendors will be participating in the Pork War and vying for the People’s Choice Award. Tickets are $10 for four food samples. The Eastern Shore Wing War will also take place. The winner of People’s Choice award will win a cash prize and be recognized on a banner. For $10, the public can taste two wings from each competitor.

The event is to offer more than food, though; there will be musical entertainment, arts and craft vendors, and drinks available for purchase. Other activities include laser tag, a low ropes course, and hot air balloons in Balloonville, which will also feature a balloon glow.

The Kids’ Corner will keep the youngsters entertained. There are set to be an inflatable park, magicians, dance performances, an animal show, and a demonstration by police K-9 taking place here.

No doubt the winners of both the Pork and Wing Wars will want to spread the word about their victory throughout Salisbury. They may do this by investing in flyer printing services.

Pork in the Park will be held at Winter Place Park from April 22 to 23 from 11:00 AM each day. Admission is $3 per person. For more information about this event, visit the official website.
