Canton area caters for parents-to-be

Being a new parent can be a challenging time, and a Canton area class will teach future moms and dads how they can navigate this period of their new baby’s life a bit more easily.

The infant care workshop will share tips and information about feeding, diapering, and a variety of other baby care basics. The participants will learn about how babies grow and develop during their first months, sleeping schedules and patterns, baby proofing, how to choose a childcare provider, and also safety tips. A hands-on practice bathing session will also be included.

Those who are interested in taking part in the informational evening are encouraged to do so as a couple if possible, and the ticket price for each pair is $35. The session will run for about two and a half hours, and snacks and light refreshments will be provided. The organizers noted that it is intended to be taken as the third trimester of the mom-to-be’s pregnancy is occurring. A printing services provider can use comb binding and other techniques to craft manuals for the soon-to-be-parents who take part in an educational event like this.

The 2018 Infant Care Class has been scheduled for March 5, and it will be taking place at the Mercy Medical Center, which can be found at 345 Saint Paul Place in Baltimore. The Family Childbirth & Children’s Center at Mercy’s website can be consulted for more details.
